RAIN-OUT/STORM OUT, FIELD CLOSURE

  • Unless the fields are officially closed through the field status lines, EMSA officials and Referees regardless of current or pending inclement weather, teams are required to report to their field or risk forfeiture.
  • It will be the referee’s discretion if the game will commence.
  • If the fields are open and your team is playing the late game of a double header and the first game is cancelled due to weather by the referees, it is still mandatory for your team to show up for your scheduled game time as the game may be able to commence if the weather passes. If you do not show, your team will default.
  • Team Officials cannot make cancellation decisions on their own. Should a game be cancelled by anyone other than the referees, league director or approved match official (or approved policy procedures), it will be noted as cancelled and not rescheduled

  4. These lines are typically updated by 4:00pm daily but some vary. Check back frequently on days with changing weather, as updates may occur throughout the day.
