TEAM MANAGER code of conduct

The Team Manager plays a critical leadership role within Black Gold FC and is responsible for supporting a positive, safe, organized, and development-focused environment for players, families, coaches, officials, and volunteers. Team Managers are expected to act as ambassadors of the club and uphold the values, policies, and reputation of Black Gold FC at all times.

As a Black Gold FC Team Manager,  I will:

  1. Act with integrity, professionalism, and respect in all team and club activities.
  2. Support and uphold the policies, values, and reputation of Black Gold FC.
  3. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all players and families.
  4. Communicate respectfully, professionally, and in a timely manner with players, parents, coaches, officials, and club representatives.
  5. Perform team administration duties accurately, honestly, and within required timelines.
  6. Treat referees, opponents, volunteers, facility staff, and spectators with courtesy and respect.
  7. Promote good sportsmanship, fair play, and appropriate behaviour both on and off the field.
  8. Respect the confidentiality of player, family, and club information.
  9. Refrain from harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, or conduct that may bring the team or club into disrepute.
  10. Comply with all Black Gold FC, EMSA, BRSA, Alberta Soccer, and Canada Soccer policies, rules, and regulations.
  11. Cooperate with club investigations, disciplinary processes, and reporting requirements when required.
  12. Lead by example and represent Black Gold FC positively at all times, including during games, tournaments, travel, team events, and online activities.

Disciplinary Action

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including verbal or written warnings, suspension from team or Club activities, removal from events, or termination of membership, as determined by Black Gold FC
