Black Gold FC delivered a proud and memorable showing at the FC Memorial Tournament, hosted in Edmonton, Alberta, with competition running January 22–25, 2026. The event brought together clubs from across the region for a weekend of high‑intensity indoor soccer, and BRSA’s athletes rose to the challenge with determination, teamwork, and unmistakable Black Gold spirit.
Across all age groups, our teams demonstrated growth, resilience, and a commitment to development that reflects the heart of our club. Several squads secured top‑three finishes, while others gained valuable experience that will fuel their progress through the season.
U08 Yamashita – Finishing 3rd in Their Division
The U08 (Yamashita) team impressed throughout the weekend, finishing 3rd after a series of energetic and fast‑paced matches. Their creativity, hustle, and willingness to take risks made them one of the most exciting young groups to watch. For many players, this was their first major tournament — and they handled it with confidence and joy.
U11 Moncion – Strong 3rd Place Finish
